Job Title: Welder & Fabricator

• Pay: $30-33+/hr, based on experience
• Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Overtime: Paid after 8 hours in a day + additional OT available
• Schedule: Full-time with occasional extended hours

• Perform MIG, flux core, and occasional sub arc welding on A36 steel
• Fabricate and assemble overhead crane components
• Read and follow blueprints to complete weldments accurately
• Partner with 1st shift for smooth project handoff
• Work with a small, skilled team to meet production goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards

• 3+ years of MIG and flux core welding experience
• Experience working with A36 steel
• Ability to read welding blueprints and layouts
• Commitment to quality, consistency, and teamwork
• Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional overtime

Preferred:

• Industrial or military mechanical experience
• Fabrication and maintenance expertise
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Industrial fabrication shop focused on structural crane systems (bridge cranes, hoists, runways). Fast-paced, hands-on environment with a mix of shop work and occasional field service. Expect physical work (lifting, climbing, working at heights) with full PPE provided and strong safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tonawanda, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
