A confidential custom home builder in the Lexington County, SC area is looking to add an Estimating and Purchasing Manager to its team.


The Estimating and Purchasing Manager plays a key role in supporting the successful execution and profitability of custom home construction projects. This position partners closely with leadership, vendors, and internal teams to support accurate estimating, cost management, purchasing activities, and overall project efficiency throughout the construction process.

Job Duties:
• Develop estimates, proposals, budgets, and takeoffs for custom home projects
• Maintain pricing templates and analyze project cost variances to support accurate forecasting and profitability
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, purchasing processes, rebate programs, and inventory operations
• Collaborate with leadership and design teams on value engineering and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards
• Create and manage change orders, quantity controls, and project-related purchasing documentation
• Support continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies across estimating and purchasing functions

Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Driver's license required
• 5+ years of residential purchasing and estimating experience required
