Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: State or Compact License Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with Tablo Devices Description: Registered Nurses in this specialty will work three 12-hour shifts, with varying start times between 7 AM and 10 AM. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Call is required for this position. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Experience with Tablo devices is a requirement. Charting will be done using Epic. Responsibilities include the administration of blood and blood products, and operation of dialysis machines such as Baxter, Fresenius, Gambro, and Prismaflex. Candidates should be capable of cannulating AV grafts and fistulas. They must be able to conduct various types of alarms checks and manage complications such as hypotension, hyperkalemia, and clotted access. The role requires skilled interpretation and management of dysrhythmias along with providing CPR when necessary. Registered Nurses will also assist in post-treatment access care and follow proper sterilization procedures.
