Job Title: Phlebotomist II Float
Job Duration: 4 months (possible extension)
Job Location: Pembroke Pines, FL 33025
Shift: M-F 6:00 AM- 1:30 PM, Every Saturday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Description

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
Demonstrate Leadership Behaviours while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Maintains required records and documentation.
Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months’ experience is REQUIRED. One (+) year phlebotomy experience is preferred.
Customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting (Preferred)
Basic computer and data entry skills

Skills

Strong phlebotomy and patient interaction skills
Independent and able to manage time effectively
Flexible, adaptable, and dependable in changing environments
Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
Professional and patient-focused attitude
