Take-Up Operator III (Power Cable Production)

Location: Starkville, MS Shift: Night Shift Pay: $19.77/hr.

What You’ll Do

• Precision Operations: Manage the loading and changing of cable reels, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the production run.

• Quality Control: Conduct inspections, measure cable diameters, and verify that products meet high quality standards before they move to the next stage.

• Production Excellence: Interpret Bill of Materials (BOM) orders to configure equipment, manage labeling (printing and crimping), and ensure all materials are prepared accurately.

• Support & Collaboration: Assist the machine operator with changeovers, maintain organized work areas using 5S principles, and accurately input data into production software.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety, quality, and ISO standards, including the proper handling of raw materials and hazardous waste.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Technical Readiness: Ability to use hand tools and machinery efficiently; capable of interpreting instructions and technical documentation.

• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for quality and the ability to follow precise production specifications.

• Team-Oriented: A proactive communicator who enjoys working in a team environment to meet daily production goals.

• Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years of age.
