Commercial HVAC/R Service TechnicianRSC Mechanical is looking to expand our team and is seeking HVAC/R Service Technicians. If you're an experienced technician who communicates well and goes the extra mile, we want to hear from you.Job ResponsibilitiesService, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and self-contained refrigeration systemsWork on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units, and controlsRepair self-contained cases, coolers, freezers, and ice machinesPerform preventive and general maintenanceDiagnose electrical and mechanical issuesHandle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA regulationsCommunicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team membersComplete digital work orders and required documentationParticipate in on-call rotation after trainingTravel locally as neededQualifications2+ years of experience and working knowledge of HVAC/R required.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team setting.Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.Technicians are expected to provide their own standard hand tools.Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital work order systems.Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and travel as needed.ScheduleFull-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime as required.On-Call RequirementsParticipation in an on-call rotation following the training period.
