Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician at NHR Florida

Job Overview Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician position at NHR, Florida. Compensation: Salary Range $200,000 to $240,000 plus benefits and WRVU bonus program. Responsibilities Prescribe medications and manage pain and symptoms. Coordinate multidisciplinary team and case plans. Make referrals for psychosocial support and complementary alternative medicine such as acupuncture. Evaluate patients and determine appropriate referrals. Perform clinical procedures as required by the role. Schedule and Caseload Call schedule: 1 in 4. Current patient volume: approximately 100 office visits per month and ~5,000 hospital consults per year. Consults are primarily telephone; evening and weekend calls are rare. Caseload breakdown: 95% oncology, 5% other conditions such as COPD. Each admitting hospital has a dedicated team of 5 ARNPs covering weekends and daytime calls.
