Plant Accountant

Our client is looking for a Plant Accountant who wants more than a traditional accounting desk role. As the sole accounting professional at a growing manufacturing facility , you’ll own the plant’s accounting function, partner directly with operations leadership, and have a visible impact on financial performance while gaining exposure to multiple entities and corporate finance. Benefits & Extras Own the accounting function for a manufacturing plant with significant autonomy and visibility Defined career progression within a growing finance organization Partner directly with plant leadership on cost savings and operational efficiency Broad, cross-functional role involving accounting, HR/payroll support, and IT coordination Compensation $68,000–$85,000 What You’ll Be Doing Manage month-end close, journal entries, GL reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Analyze daily production variances and provide reporting to finance leadership Prepare daily sales reports, bank reconciliations, cash applications, AP, and AR activities Manage customer invoicing, EDI uploads, AR aging, and collections Partner with plant management on cost savings and operational improvements Support internal controls and annual audit requirements Serve as the local liaison for HR/payroll and coordinate first-level IT support What You’ll Need to Be Considered 2-3 years of full cycle accounting experience required Degree in Accounting or related field Manufacturing, plant accounting, or cost accounting experience strongly preferred ERP experience required Advanced Excel and data-analysis capabilities Comfortable working independently as the sole accounting professional on-site Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a significant plus INDACC firstName * lastName * Email Address * * Phone Number * * Attach Resume * Accepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, Max. file size: 16 MB. #J-18808-Ljbffr
