Staff Attorney, Conflicts - New Matter Services

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Conflicts Staff Attorney expects to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to and obtaining results for the Firm, Firm’s Professional Services Partners, New Matter Services Department and Firm clients. The Attorney supports and promotes the Firm’s professional and ethical responsibilities. In coordination with the Firm’s Professional Services Partners and New Matter Services Director, and consistent with their direction, the Attorney: (1) manages, identifies and resolves potential conflicts of interest for new clients and matters and lateral hires, and (2) coordinates special projects as designated by the Firm’s Professional Services Partners and New Matter Services Director. The Attorney strategically applies best practices and legal principles to ensure professional responsibilities are met related to potential conflicts of interest across the Firm and New Matter Services. The Attorney ensures that work is processed in an efficient and accurate manner and all work conforms to the Firm’s policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bar‑admitted and in good standing in a jurisdiction where the Firm has an office. Minimum of three years of experience in new matter intake, clearing conflicts of interest and conflict clearance principles, processes and procedures preferred. Knowledge of legal administration. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $130,000 – $180,000.
