Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit at a Level II Trauma Center. This position involves providing interventional and diagnostic cardiac care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular status during procedures and recovery.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in EMR systems including MacLab and Meditech.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Florida or applicable state license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP procedures.
• Proven proficiency with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Ability to operate specialized cardiac equipment and technology.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
