TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in West Burlington, Iowa, 52655!

Job Title: RN MCU Profession: RN Specialty: RN MCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, GRH CPI/MOAB Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months is required. Telemetry experience is preferred. Description: The Medical Care Unit is designed for patients with less acute medical needs. Patients may be awaiting placement to long-term care facilities. The unit serves a variety of medical diagnoses. Nurses may float between this unit and inpatient rehabilitation services. Inpatient rehabilitation is designated for intense rehab services. Nurses will deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Coordination with other health team members is essential. Effective interaction with patients and their significant others is required. High standards of professional nursing must be maintained at all times. Care will be provided to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and patients with psychiatric issues. Floating to other areas of the hospital is required. Weekend rotation is necessary. Travelers may occasionally be placed on call during low census periods. If called in, travelers are expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. Estimated hours per week is 36.
