Cardiac Cath/Ep Tech

Role Overview Conducts specialized cardiovascular radiology examinations, including cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology studies, ensuring procedures meet regulatory and quality standards. Responsibilities Serves as a lead and resource to clinical staff, optimizing team capabilities. Collaborates with the intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care, adhering to protocols and site marking standards. Prepares patients, reads physician orders, selects equipment, and ensures patient comfort. Maintains and calibrates imaging equipment, troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance. Implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction. Stays updated on advancements in cardiovascular technology through ongoing education and professional development. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program. Minimum one year of experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP Lab, with clinical training counting toward this. ARRT certification or RCIS registration within 3 months of hire; Texas MRT/LMRT license within 9 months. CPR/BLS certification; ACLS or ALS certification within 90 days.
