Auto Damage Adjuster

Responsibilities Guide customers through complex claims with reassurance and solutions. Inspect and assess vehicle damage, estimate vehicle repair costs. Negotiate equitable settlements and partner with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers. Resolve customer concerns, ensuring a positive experience. Determine and maintain appropriate work schedules (evenings, weekends, holidays). Qualifications Minimum 12 months of Auto Damage experience. Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs (desired). Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster/Appraiser’s License required. Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines. State and federal certifications and permits maintained. High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem‑solving, empathy skills. Adaptable, detail‑oriented, ability to prioritize and multitask across platforms. Solid computer and mechanical aptitude. Excellent verbal and written communication. Will be flexible with primary work location; field and in‑office work may be required. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation & Benefits Starting hourly rate: $29.51 - $37.65 (equivalent to $59,000 - $75,850 annually). Sign‑on bonus: $1,500 for licensed candidates. Paid Time Off accrued immediately, plus 13 paid holidays annually (8 fixed, 5 floating). 401(k) with up to 6% match, vested immediately. Tuition assistance program up to $5,250 annually. GEICO Flex: additional weeks annually to work off‑site. Work Location This is not a remote role; you will be required to work in the territory listed on the posting. Field territory: Spartanburg,SC area. GEICO Fleet vehicle assigned and responsible for the area.
