We are seeking dynamic candidates who enjoy a fast-paced and team oriented work environment supported by a company with the motto "Customers first, employees always!"Job DescriptionTitle: Tool and Die MachinistReports to: Tool & Die SupervisorJob Purpose: Ultimately responsible for minor repair and maintenance of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Determine the extent and method of repair to dies by means of careful inspection and accurate measurement.Perform repair operations to dies.Set up and operate standard milling machine, lathe, drill press, grinder and other machine tools as directed under general supervision.Design and manufacture tools and fixtures for new products.Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.3 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.Ability to perform standard shop computations (math).Ability to read schematics (blueprints), engineering drawings, and technical manuals.Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus.Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments as well as work within a team environment.Must have draw die experienceAdditional InformationPhoenix Stamping Group, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
