Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) / Cath Lab

Location

Mountain Home, AR | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call requirements to be discussed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology (EP) and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Work collaboratively with electrophysiologists and cardiology professionals to diagnose and treat complex cardiac arrhythmias
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly to critical or emergency situations, including CPR
• Operate and respond to equipment alarms, maintaining keen visual and auditory awareness throughout each shift
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
• Maintain current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications and adhere to all facility compliance and safety requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent electrophysiology (EP) nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or a valid Compact/Multistate RN license (license in-hand required at time of submission)
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• This position is designated safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Dual Cath/EP experience is highly valued
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records preferred
