Physician Urology - Competitive Salary

Job Description Opportunity: Physician - Urology Job Details: Coverage needed for clinic and call coverage 2-3 weeks per month Breakdown is approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital, and 30% procedures/surgeries Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential for earlier on-site arrival for surgery Typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, and bladder installation Equipment available includes X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner, and TRUS Provider must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion patients and pediatric urology patients presenting to the ER Expected patient encounters per shift: 16-20 Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility BLS certification required Trauma Level 2 facility Required skills include general urology (adult), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures Preferred skills include pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and ESWL Provider must utilize real-time Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS Facility: This facility is a comprehensive medical center offering a wide range of healthcare services including urology, surgical procedures, and emergency care. It operates as a children's hospital and maintains a Level 2 trauma designation, providing advanced care for both adult and pediatric patients.
