Title Designer Company National Cannabis Retailer Location Remote - CST or EST Duration 3 months + Pay Rate $40-50hr W2 *Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC. About the Role A National Cannabis Retailer is seeking a talented Designer to support recreational and medical markets. This role will focus on creating high-volume digital promotional creative across multiple channels, bringing marketing campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and retail promotions to life. The ideal candidate has digital design experience, preferably within CPG, retail, or e-commerce, and is comfortable working within established brand identity systems in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Design and produce digital promotional creative for weekly campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and ongoing retail marketing efforts. Create assets across email, web, landing pages, paid media, social media, CRM, and e-commerce. Design within established brand identity systems while bringing each brand's unique personality to life. Develop layouts that balance promotional messaging, merchandising priorities, and customer experience. Produce multiple asset variations and resize creative across digital placements. Prepare and export production-ready assets in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards. Adapt campaign creative across multiple formats while maintaining brand consistency. Partner with Creative, Marketing, Brand, and Digital teams to translate campaign briefs into compelling creative. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Maintain organized design files, templates, component libraries, and creative assets. Stay current on digital design trends, platform best practices, and emerging technologies. Contribute ideas to improve creative quality, workflows, and customer experience. Requirements 5+ years of professional digital design experience, preferably supporting CPG brands with additional retail or e-commerce experience. Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, promotional marketing, email design, web design, landing pages, digital advertising, and responsive layouts. Experience with CPG, retail, cannabis, or other highly regulated brands preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Figma. Adobe After Effects/motion graphics experience is a plus. Experience with AI-powered creative tools is a plus. Experience producing high-volume promotional creative within a fast-paced marketing environment. Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices across email, web, social media, paid media, CRM, and e-commerce. Experience working within established brand identity systems. Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, composition, and digital design principles. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience designing responsive digital experiences and working within design systems preferred.
