Key Responsibilities\n

  • Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families, aiming to enhance understanding and management of mood disorders while promoting self-care techniques.

  • Regularly monitor client progress through structured follow-ups, adapting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to guarantee an integrated treatment process that addresses the complete spectrum of patient health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your therapeutic approach will reflect sensitivity to cultural diversity, ensuring equitable treatment tailored to the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Active and valid California licensure as either an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

  • Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and adeptness in collaborating with psychopharmacological specialists.
