Job specification

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with chronic and acute renal conditions, including dialysis, kidney disease, and post-surgical care.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs, interpreting telemetry data to detect abnormalities and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and IV fluids, closely monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Perform detailed assessments, documentation, and care planning to ensure comprehensive and individualized patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on renal health, dialysis processes, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and safety protocols to maintain a safe care environment.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, utilizing critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Washington.
• 1+ year of renal telemetry or telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, providing compassionate care.
