Position Overview

• Role: Inpatient Pharmacist (RPh)
• Location: Northwestern New Mexico
• Start Date: Beginning in August
• Duration: 3+ months +
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, Full time
• Shift: Day Shift
• On-Call: Yes, potentially

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient pharmacist duties including order entry, review, and verification.
• Utilize Cerner for order entry and clinical tracking.
• Manage and oversee automated medication dispensing using Pyxis site automation.
• Perform sterile compounding as part of daily job functions.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure safe and accurate medication distribution, dosage, and administration.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold an active, clear New Mexico (NM) Pharmacist License.
• Experience: Proven experience working in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Skills: Proficiency with Cerner (Order Entry) and Pyxis (Automation). Strong clinical knowledge of sterile compounding protocols.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $75.00 Per Hour
