We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality, trauma-sensitive, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care to those in crisis. As part of our team, you will be responsible for offering direct or indirect nursing services, including:

• Conducting nursing assessments and evaluations
• Creating and executing individualized care plans
• Providing health education and case management
• Administering prescribed medications and treatments
• Ensuring the effective delivery of crisis services in alignment with state laws

Job Type/Salary:

• 12 Hour Shifts Available: (AM Shift: 6:30AM-7:00PM or PM Shift: 6:30pm - 7:00AM)
• Annual Salary Options:
• Level III: $76,500/$36.78 hourly
• Level II: $72,500/$34.86 hourly
• Level I: $70,000/$33.65 hourly
• PLUS Stacking Shift Differentials: $3.00 for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Total Compensation Package: $71,000-$91,000, depending on number of covered dependents
• Non-Exempt - OT Available!
• Full-time

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Level III Bachelor's in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC and one year of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience
• Level II Bachelor's in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC OR Associate in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience
• Level I Associate in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC.

Special Requirements:

• Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
• Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.

About Us: Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as a Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults. Griffin Memorial Hospital is a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving persons aged 18 and over with severe mental illness and provides in-patient hospital care for those in need of mental health & substance abuse services.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Preplacement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

This agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
