Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:

Provides specialized critical care nursing services to ICU patients, maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care aligned with unit policies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to deteriorations.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and clinical protocols.
  
  
• 
  Perform invasive procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter placements.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding their condition, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, update, and execute individualized care plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
  
  
• 
  Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong critical thinking, self-motivation, and advanced clinical skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform procedures such as central line and dialysis catheter insertions.
  
  
• 
  Flexible in scheduling, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Familiar with hemodynamic monitoring and ICU equipment including Impella and IABP.
