For more information about joining our team, please visit us at Capital Bank is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Managing Director (MD) to lead our M&A Advisory Group. This role involves originating and executing M&A transactions, providing strategic financial advice to clients, and driving the growth of our advisory practice.Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of M&A transaction execution, including origination, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and profitability of the M&A Advisory Group.Provide expert strategic and financial advice to clients across various industries, assessing their needs and developing tailored solutions.Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.Conduct complex financial modeling, valuation analyses, and industry research.Prepare and present compelling pitches, proposals, and transaction-related materials to clients and senior management.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.Represent Texas Capital Bank at industry events and conferences, enhancing the firm's visibility and reputation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate development, with a significant track record of leading successful transactions.FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses required.Demonstrated expertise in M&A strategy, valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and transaction structuring.Extensive network of client relationships and a proven ability to originate new business.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
