Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a high-acuity, large academic medical center environment
• Deliver care to complex and critically ill patients across adult and NICU populations
• Perform neuro diagnostics and respiratory assessments as assigned by the unit
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and specialists across major clinical services

Required Qualifications

• Active Nebraska state respiratory therapy license (preferred in hand at time of submission; licensing may take 6–8 weeks and start date will be adjusted accordingly)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year of experience at a large (500+ bed) Level I Trauma, Academic Medical Center
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of overall respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
