Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' psychological needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and client interviews.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies, ensuring the approaches are culturally sensitive and individualized.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, families, and groups via telehealth platforms, utilizing various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.

• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team including case managers and psychiatrists to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress through telecommunication methods, ensuring prompt assistance and support.
\n
• Participate in community outreach programs and workshops aimed at educating the public about mental health issues and available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role directly impacts individuals from a myriad of socio-economic backgrounds, including children, adults, and families dealing with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other related conditions. We prioritize accessibility and cultural competence in our approaches to therapy, striving to meet clients where they are both emotionally and geographically.

Qualifications\n

• Must be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Medical Psychologist, or hold a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) license.

• Individuals should possess a master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience of at least two years in a mental health counseling role is essential, preferably in a community mental health setting.
