As a national leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing and inspection, we collaborate on transformative projects across transportation, energy, water, healthcare, and more.The Receiving Specialist plays a key role in managing income delivery of supplies, testing samples, and other essential products related to our resistivity testing experience. This role works closely with operational leadership and our field-based technicians to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely delivery and accurate inventory management.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and store shipments of products.Accurately record receiving data to align with associated purchase orders.Prepare and organize received stock/deliveries for inventory.Report damages or inventory shortage to operational leadership & take corrective action as needed.Maintain quality standards on all work; ensure safety requirements and processes are followed at all times regarding receipt and storage of inventory.Effectively communicate with Lab Manager regarding inventory levels.Qualifications0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, administrative support, finance, or business operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze information and solve routine problems.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Willingness to learn procurement systems, policies, and best practices.Ability to lift 50lbs regularlyPreferred QualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience is a plus but not requiredStrong attention to detail and accuracy when processing purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with internalTravel RequirementsThis position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentComfortable with manual labor, including lifting, standing, and moving product for extended periodsAbility to stand, bend, and move throughout a shiftComfortable working in a warehouse/receiving environmentEEO StatementUES is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is proud to recruit the most qualified candidates.
