production associate - direct hire

We have a variety of general labor openings in Geneva IL. Previous food manufacturing experience isn’t needed! You might be mixing products, weighing/scaling material, packaging material, or supplying lines with product. Whatever role you are assigned to, you will need to be reliable and able to work within industry standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times. Some of the GMP’s will vary by location (artificial nails/eyelashes, nail polish, jewelry, etc. cannot be worn while producing and/or packaging food products). This is a direct hire position! salary: $16.5 - $18.5 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

•    Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.
•    Supply production lines as needed.
•    Responsible for correct placement of product on line or in containers, boxes, or pallets.
•    Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner.
•    Performs all other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
