Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired to provide school-based services for a local school in Harford County, MD for the 2026/2027 school year. Sign-on bonus of $1000

Kelly Pediatric Therapy provides consistent on-site and off-site mentorship with Clinical Directors and Team Leaders.
School-Based Academy: We provide the support and community a new School-Based therapist needs to feel comfortable and be successful.
Lending Library: Kelly Pediatric Therapy recognizes the additional expense in providing evaluation materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapists to borrow as needed.

Job Summary:
The Extended School Year program is hiring Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired to provide direct instruction, adaptive materials, and consultative support to students with visual impairments to facilitate their compensation for a sensory deficit and to access the academic curriculum.
?Essential Functions:
Provide instruction in Unified English Braille (UEB) Nemeth Code, visual discrimination, and other areas specific to students with visual impairments
Knowledge of Neurological Visual Impairments and facilitation techniques to support visual access
Independently plan and effectively deliver curriculum based on needs specified in Individual Educational Plans.
Observes, evaluates and prepares reports on progress of students.
