Hospital employed position in an acute behavioral health unit
Primarily adults with occasional adolescents
Choose your schedule: 7 on/7 off or Monday - Friday
Three advanced practitioners in the unit
Inpatient only with plans to expand to outpatient
Medical Director opportunity available, if desired
Experienced physicians and new graduates are welcomed

Location:Palmer, AK is just 42 miles northeast of Anchorage. This beautiful town is known for its agricultural setting, celebrated history, and exciting adventures. The Matanuska-Susitna Valley features 23,000 square miles of rivers, lakes, glaciers, and mountains. Nestled in between the Talkeetna and Chugach Mountains, you can also explore Knik Glacier, Matanuska Peak, Pioneer Peak, Hatcher Pass, and Matanuska Glacier which are all close by. During the winter months, the northern lights will dance across the sky and amaze you. This stunning area is the ideal location for someone seeking to rest and recharge.
