Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:
- Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate patient care
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
- Perform regular rounds in housing units to monitor mental health and adjustment
- Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Gather and share information with staff to support patient care and behavior management
- Address mental health needs in various housing areas, including segregation units
What You Need:
- Valid license or board eligibility (licensed Psychologist preferred)
- Experience in mental health assessment and counseling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a correctional health setting
- BLS certification meeting facility requirements or pending attestation
About the Assignment:
This position involves providing professional mental health care at a secure correctional facility. The Psychologist will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a dedicated team to support inmates' mental health needs throughout the duration of the contract. Your expertise will directly contribute to a safe and supportive environment for all.
