Title Clerk

Base Pay $19.00 - $23.00 / Hour Employee Type Full Time Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Basil Family Dealerships is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Title Clerk to join our team at our Amherst administrative office. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate vehicle processing, dealership compliance, and accounting support across our organization. What You'll Do: Process vehicle titles and registration paperwork accurately and efficiently Submit all required paperwork to the DMV in a timely manner Stock vehicles into CDK/VERFI upon purchase Break down vehicle deals and verify documentation completeness Process pay-off checks for trade-ins and mail payments to the appropriate financial institutions Ensure compliance with all New York State and Federal dealership guidelines Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Create, review, and send invoices Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies Reconcile all accounts to general ledger balances monthly Maintain accurate financial records and dealership documentation Assist with month-end closing and reporting Prepare accurate reporting of daily transactions and business activity Communicate with vendors, lenders, and internal teams regarding billing or title issues What We're Looking For: Familiarity with CDK and VERFI systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Working knowledge of DMV processes and dealership compliance standards preferred What We Offer: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) with Employer Match Three Health Insurance Plans to Choose From Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Social Events Join a team that values accuracy, teamwork, and growth—apply today to become part of Basil Family Dealerships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
