Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Experience in high-risk perinatal care. Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries preferred. Ability to float to postpartum as needed. Availability to work weekends and holidays. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery department. The position includes responsibilities in both labor and postpartum care. The unit provides high-risk perinatal care with multiple labor and delivery beds. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment with diverse patient needs. Clinicians will assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care activities. The goal is to ensure optimal care and support for mothers and newborns. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients. This involves administering medications, performing assessments, and providing education. Experience with fetal monitoring and various delivery methods is required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
