Med/Surg Nurse Manager

Med/Surg Nurse Manager
Join our dynamic health system as a Med/Surg RN Manager, overseeing the daily operations of our Medical-Surgical unit. Lead and mentor a dedicated nursing team, manage schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in hiring. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, allocate resources effectively, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes. Provide ongoing education and training to keep our nursing staff current with the latest practices and technologies. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Reports directly to and work closely with the Director of Critical Care Services.
Requirements:
- BSN, required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, required.
- Current State of New Jersey Nursing License, required.
- 3+ Years of progressive Leadership Experience at Assistant Manager level or above, required.
- 3+ years of previous Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care facility required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
