Service Writer - 2nd Shift Department: Service Employment Type: Full Time Location: Milwaukee Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 / year Description Perform Service Department billing function and work closely with Service Department Personnel and Customers as a support person. Responsibilities Maintain positive customer relations Calling for authorizations of needed work Assist in pre-printing final customer invoices and close RO’s when needed Meet and exceed Sales and Profitability Objectives based on the Business Plan Marketing of Service Dept.; Up-selling work from inspection sheets Maintain Over-aged Warranty to $0 over 60 Days Open repairs orders for customers by phone or at the service counter Assist in obtaining 90% or greater direct time on paying jobs Write accurate estimates for needed repair work and communicate effectively to the customer Ensure detail accuracy for all repair orders Achieve overall tech efficiency average of 96% or greater by flat rating all jobs prior to starting on the repairs and monitoring progress of repairs Monitor lube account Other duties as assigned by the Manager Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred A CDL License is required Good math skills Good verbal and written communication skills Computer and keyboarding skills Customer focused Previous exposure to vehicle or machine repair terminology helpful The ability to establish clear directions and sets definitive goals to ensure objectives are met The ability to identify priorities and plan accordingly to meet deadlines Ensuring that the highest value of service is delivered to satisfy customer requests to encourage customer loyalty Effectively communicate information in a direct, concise, and unambiguous manner Candidate presents a high level of attention to work and continually strives to improve quality of performance in self and others Proven ability to address a variety of business issues that arise in a professional manner The ability to operate under high pressure situations and maintain self-composure in the face of challenging circumstances Candidate possesses exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Lakeside International, L.L.C.
