Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - CVOR Circulator with at least 3 years of core CVOR staff nurse experience and an active IL RN license.

Operating room setting specializing in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) circulating duties

10-hour shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekend coverage required as needed

Holiday coverage required as needed

Floating required as needed

On-call requirement of 3-4 shifts per month with a 2-hour minimum call-back and must be within 30 minutes of the facility

Uses Epic EMR

Active IL RN license required

Current CPR certification required

ACLS certification not required

Minimum 3 years of core CVOR experience as a staff nurse

Endovascular or cardiac open heart experience preferred

At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred

Proficient with Epic EMR

New graduates will not be considered

Two professional references within the last year required for consideration

Primary responsibility is circulating in the CVOR

Preference given to candidates who can float to the Main OR or scrub in CVOR

Note that call-back distance is measured in miles rather than minutes due to Chicago traffic conditions
