Powersports Title & Registration Specialist

Salary Range: $48,000 - $60,000 Join our fast-paced powersports team! We are a high-volume dealership dedicated to getting our riders on the road (or trail) as quickly as possible. We pride ourselves on a “work hard, play hard” culture and are looking for a detail-oriented professional to lead our title department. As our Title Clerk, you are the final step in the customer’s journey. You ensure that every motorcycle, ATV, and side-by-side we sell is legally registered and titled correctly. You’ll navigate complex out-of-state regulations and act as a direct point of contact for customers who have questions about their paperwork. Key Responsibilities: Multi-State Titling: Accurately process and submit all new and used title work for both local and out-of-state registrations. High-Volume Management: Maintain a rigorous tracking system for all outstanding titles, lien releases, and dealer trades to ensure no deal gets stuck. Customer Liaison: Proactively communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve documentation issues or provide status updates. Agency Collaboration: Liaise with various state DMV offices and financial institutions to troubleshoot title discrepancies and verify payoff status. Compliance: Stay current on changing state regulations and tax requirements for all regions where we do business. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a title clerk in an automotive or powersports dealership. The “Multi-State” Edge: Proven familiarity with titling processes in multiple states is highly preferred. Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume environment. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; you must be comfortable explaining complex legal steps to customers in simple terms. Notary Public: Current Notary certification is a plus (or the ability to obtain one).
