Position Summary

ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive benefits.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and facility systems, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily start-up and shutdown procedures for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and six-axis robotics.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for all facility equipment.
• Complete in-house projects and maintain logs documenting project timelines.
• Perform facility repairs and address safety concerns proactively.
• Coordinate with external contractors for projects beyond internal resources.
• Monitor installation of new equipment by contractors.
• Attend pre-shift and post-shift team meetings to communicate updates and issues.
• Maintain and enhance 5S standards throughout the facility.
• Complete required documentation, including shift notes, preventive maintenance logs, and work orders, as directed by Team Leader/Manager.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial electrical maintenance.
• Extensive experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Experience working with six-axis robotics and other advanced manufacturing equipment.
