Forklift Operator Level 1

Responsibilities Warehouse upkeep through sweeping and keeping areas clean Control damage and inventory Operate forklift safely Use PKMS through RF scanning Complete LTL and Will Calls Complete paperwork and turn it in at the end of each shift Complete a daily Pre & Post shift forklift inspection Attend and participate in daily safety meetings Wear proper PPE and uniform at all times during each shift Knowledge and Skills Successfully process factory transfers in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision Operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse – must pass in‑house forklift training Learn PKMS and scanning system Basic computer skills and data entry Effective verbal and written communication skills Meet deadlines Use good judgement, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job Establish positive working relationships with employees and internal/external customers Understand and follow all company rules, policies, procedures, and requirements, especially for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity/cost Experience 0-1 years recent industrial forklift experience, preferably within a large scale high‑volume warehouse/logistics facility Education High School diploma or GED Forklift certification – provided by in‑house training team (40 hrs. forklift training) Physical Requirements / Work Environment Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
