Lead CustodianWe're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented leader to help keep our learning environment safe, clean, and welcoming at the Oakland Schools Technical Campus – SW!As Lead Custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facility remains a spotless, secure, and inspiring space for students and staff alike. Your hands-on work will set the standard for our campus. From daily floor cleaning to whiteboard care, your efforts will directly shape the quality of our learning spaces. In this dynamic supervisory position, you will oversee and delegate tasks to evening custodial staff, serve as a key liaison to the Facilities Manager, and ensure strict building security—including managing end-of-shift lockups. Your day-to-day responsibilities combine team direction with hands-on facility care, ranging from routine floor maintenance, dusting, upholstery care, and window washing to daily scrubbing, disinfecting, and restocking of restrooms. Beyond foundational cleaning, you will take an active role in community life by facilitating event set-ups, caterings, clean-ups, and furniture relocations, while also supporting facilities with seasonal snow removal and minor painting tasks.
