About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 42-day assignment in Texas, commencing Nov 9, 2026. The chosen candidate will primarily work night shifts, providing essential APP coverage in an open ICU setting and managing an average of 1-3 night admissions, collaborating closely with a physician on call.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work night shifts, 7p-7a
  • Manage an average of 1-3 night admissions
  • Provide APP coverage in an Open ICU
  • Collaborate with a physician on night call

Additional Information

  • Board Certification: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
  • EMR: Epic
  • Setting: Inpatient, including Open ICU
  • Average night admits: 1-3 patients
  • Night shift staffing: One APP and one physician on night call
