Embark on a rewarding assignment providing dedicated care to a 5th-grade student while making a positive impact in an elementary school environment. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to deliver essential medical support, ensuring the well-being and success of a student throughout their school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer g-tube feedings, perform changes, and provide supplemental oxygen as needed
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the student's safety and health
• Meet the student at home each morning, accompany them on the school bus, and return with them in the afternoon as outlined in the student's IEP and doctor's orders
• Communicate proactively with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate care and support
• Maintain accurate records of nursing services and interventions provided
• Foster a compassionate and supportive relationship with the student, supporting both physical and emotional needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license for the state of Georgia
• Demonstrated experience working one-on-one with students in a school setting
• Strong skills in pediatric care, particularly with g-tube and respiratory needs
• Ability to work independently, displaying reliability and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
