AWS Data Architect

Qualifications

• Overall experience of 10+ years in data warehousing and/or data mesh implementations with 4+ years in AWS cloud ecosystem
• Experience in architecting solutions in data and AI intensive landscape including data products architecture, modernization, and data governance.
• Strong experience with distributed data processing (Spark, AWS Glue, EMR, or equivalent).
• Has prior hands‑on expertise with data modelling, ETL pipelines, and performance optimization.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines using Informatica (IDMC)
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark and SQL; familiarity with Iceberg tables preferred.
• Solid background in Data Analysis and Data Warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema design, dimensional modelling, and reporting enablement).
• Orchestration experience with Airflow, Step Functions, and Lambda
• Experience with Redshift performance tuning, schema design, and workload management.
