Litigation Legal Assistant

Overview Join a fast-paced Downtown Nashville law firm as a Litigation Legal Assistant, supporting attorneys on a high-volume caseload where precision and deadlines rule. This 4+ month onsite contract starts mid-July and is built for a go-getter who handles a busy workload with ease and takes pride in getting every detail right. What you'll do Prepare and manage pleadings, motions, correspondence, and exhibits; handle e-filing and hard-copy court filings with precision. Keep attorney calendars airtight, calculate deadlines, coordinate depositions, and make sure no critical date slips. Be the professional point of contact for clients, court personnel, and outside offices. Open and organize case files, manage incoming mail and documents, and keep everything moving. What we're looking for 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, gained within a law firm. Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and e-filing procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with standard office tools and internet research. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or Legal Secretary Certificate preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
