Strong knowledge of nursing care principles, patient advocacy, and clinical documentation. Preferred Qualifications: Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN). Experience with wound care. Previous work experience in a hospital or acute care setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) (PCC) systems and patient education technologies. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Advocate for patient rights and needs within the healthcare team to ensure individualized and ethical care. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Support medical/surgical nursing care as required by patient demographics and clinical settings.
