It is a Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility with 95 beds. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:5. Equipment includes vital machines and telemetry systems. Electronic Health Record (EHR) used is Medhost. Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients. Common diagnoses and treatments are expected in this setting. Clinical staff must check against the state abuse registry prior to assignment. Float requirements may include transferring to other units. Unit staffing may require being on call depending on census. Professional attire is essential; personal scrubs must adhere to dress code standards.
