Our facility encompasses a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine environment, designed to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation and support for each individual's recovery pathway. With a collaborative team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), we pride ourselves on our dedication to high-quality, evidence-based care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite and primarily focused on home care, ensuring that you meet patients in the comfort of their own living spaces. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and establish tailored treatment objectives.
• Efficiently manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, maintaining a high standard of care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans using various evidence-based treatment techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
• Deliver cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing patients' movement and functionality while decreasing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and promote healing in patients.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process, ensuring they are empowered to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment progress and communicate effectively with patients and health care providers.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on engaging with orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation from injuries or surgeries. These patients may vary from athletes looking to return to their sport to older adults recovering from joint replacements. Through targeted interventions, you will contribute significantly to helping clients regain strength, flexibility, balance, and overall functional abilities, enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Experience in developing and conducting personalized exercise regimens tailored to specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for effective patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desired.
• Experience in home health care environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in working collaboratively within a healthcare team to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 , commensurate with experience and expertise.
