Per Diem Physical Therapist

A Per Diem (weekdays) Physical Therapist, (PT/RPT), position is now available in our sub-acute rehab department located in Jamaica, NY. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish.

Facility is located in Queens, NY and conveniently located to the LIRR St. Albans station. Facility has a 250 bed capacity with a mostly long-term care Veteran population. Therapists will perform evaluations, treatments, patient/family education - caregiver training while working with a diverse and friendly multi-disciplinary team that works well together. Our rehab department is a close knit community of supportive coworkers and supervisor. Hours are flexible. The Veterans served us, it's our turn to serve them! SNF experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapist, (PT / RPT), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Good Faith Rate Range: $55.00
