Production & Shipping Associate

DRSA is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Production & Shipping Associate to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality products, and is comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities throughout the day. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded team player who can assemble products, perform light electrical wiring, assist with shipping and receiving, maintain a clean and organized workspace, answer phones when needed, and provide excellent customer service to showroom visitors. Primary Responsibilities Assemble marine lighting products and related components. Perform small electrical wiring, soldering, and basic electrical assembly. Inspect products for quality before packaging. Package orders accurately for shipment. Process incoming and outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory. Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stock organization. Keep the warehouse, production area, and showroom clean, organized, and safe. Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct calls as needed. Assist walk-in showroom customers with product questions and basic sales support. Help load and unload deliveries. Assist with general shop duties and special projects as assigned. Work efficiently while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities throughout the day. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, shipping, or electrical assembly preferred. Experience with basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform small electrical wiring and follow assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills.Comfortable using computers for shipping software and inventory management.Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with low-voltage electrical wiring (12V/24V). Experience soldering small electronic components. Familiarity with Shopify, QuickBooks, or shipping software.
