SUMMARY:

The Servicing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining complete and accurate mortgage servicing files, preparing servicing and transfer documentation and data, coordinating with internal departments to obtain missing documents, supporting loan boarding and servicing-retained activities, and ensuring deadlines are met through effective organization and cross-functional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure all documents necessary for servicing are present and complete within the efolder.
• Prepare and send out inter-company reports and documents.
• Prepare and send out reports to vendors and GSE's related to interim servicing transfers
• Upload complete and accurate loan data to our interim online servicing system.
• Sort and prepare all necessary servicing documents for automated stacking sweep.
• Assists with servicing-retained projects or audits.
• Work quickly to make sure all boarding deadlines are met.
• Work with internal departments to locate missing documents.
• Crosstrain with the other servicing areas to provide backup as needed.
• Preparing and reviewing transfer documents to mortgage borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of servicing and loan origination docs
• Familiarity with the mortgage process
• Ability to take direction and work closely in a team structure
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Demonstrate strong decision making, analysis and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of Ellie Mae's Encompass System a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• 3 years of mortgage lending or related regulatory experience, preferred
• Loan Processor experience a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Dexterity of hands to operate a computer keyboard
• Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally bending at the waist, climbing, kneeling, and stooping for installation of hardware and more
• Hearing and speaking to communicate and provide information to others
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
