Sales Associate

Carrot is seeking a Sales Associate who is responsible for identifying and generating high‑value opportunities for our Account Executives to close. The Sales Associate will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will be primarily focused on researching the Target Accounts in their territory and performing outreach through emails, calls, and LinkedIn. This role is the foot in the door to the wide, lucrative world of B2B sales. We are looking for individuals with a passion for advancing in their career and consider learning and growing a vital part of their professional development. A winning attitude and perseverance are crucial for success. You will report directly to the Manager of Sales Development. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree At least 1 year of experience in Sales (in any industry/capacity) Fast learner who craves knowledge Motivated by money and opportunity Goal‑oriented Superior verbal and written communication skills Clear history of diligent process and clear follow‑up abilities Experience persevering despite challenges Experience with sales tools (SalesLoft/Outreach, Salesforce, SalesNav, etc.) Independent self‑starter who also works well on a team Passionate about providing inclusive coverage to marginalized populations Preferred Qualifications 6‑9 months of experience as an SDR Professional experience in a client‑facing role Professional experience in Benefits/Healthcare Compensation Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their lives inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short‑ and long‑term incentives, parental leave, family‑forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $55,000.00 - $65,000.00, plus a variable.
